I build practical ideas that help people move forward.

I’m an entrepreneur, educator, and data-minded builder. I’m most energized by work that connects technology, business, creativity, and meaningful opportunity.

A little more about me

Raised around farming and ranching, I learned early that worthwhile things usually take patience, resourcefulness, and a willingness to do the work.

I’m drawn to the gap between what exists and what could.

Much of my work begins with a simple question: is there a more useful way to do this? That question has led me through retail and distribution, data analysis, education, product development, and early-stage ventures.

The common thread is people. I care about helping others turn skills into opportunity—especially people whose ability and ambition are easy for traditional systems to overlook. My faith reinforces that interest in service, stewardship, and human potential.

Where I’m putting my energy

Business, learning, and opportunity—built in the real world.

A

Dark Edition Books

Growing a publishing company that reimagines classic literature with black pages and white text—books designed to be easier on the eyes, striking on a shelf, and memorable as gifts. The catalog now spans gothic horror, fantasy, romance, mystery, and more.

B

Petship Supply

Helping grow a regional wholesale operation that supplies pet retailers across Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Wyoming with live animals, feeder insects and rodents, and specialty pet supplies.

C

Sierra Supply

Working across product sourcing, licensed merchandise, wholesale partnerships, e-commerce, and the operational puzzle of getting the right products to the right stores.

D

Skills that create opportunity

Teaching data analysis to refugees and exploring practical pathways into better work, entrepreneurship, business ownership, and technology. That work has also included building and testing an affinity-mapping tool with refugee collaborators.

A few subjects I keep coming back to

I like projects that sit at the intersection of disciplines—not neatly inside just one.

01

Entrepreneurship

Building useful businesses, testing ideas in the real world, and looking for models that create durable value.

02

Data & technology

Using analysis and thoughtful software to make difficult problems easier to see, understand, and solve.

03

Writing & storytelling

From science fiction and fantasy to children’s stories, I’m interested in the ideas that help us see life differently.

04

Music & creativity

Songwriting, singing, and guitar were some of my earliest creative outlets—and still shape how I approach new work.

The thread through it all

Stay curious. Build what’s useful. Help people become more capable.
